Tip: Using old scraps to make your own notepads

The other day I was on pinterest and I saw this amazing idea for making your own notepad! I thought instantly what a fun way to use up your old paper scraps and make a cute personalized gift for a friend.  The options are endless and it is so easy!!

pick your paper - or in my case find some scraps. You'll also need white cardstock or something to use for the inner pages to write on. If you want to get crazy you can find a light piece of chipboard to use for the back piece of your notepad.

clothes pins - use these to hold the paper in place while you place the glue on the top part or side of notepad.

glue - use tacky adhesive from your local craft store and paint it on with your finger. You can use a brush if you prefer. Make sure you cover the top part completely with the glue.

Let it dry and viola! You have gorgeous notepads ready to be personalized for gifts. You could monogram them, put quotes in them... the options are endless!
