Donna Polley created these adorable Halloween treats using Making Memories' Slice Cordless Digital Designer. Donna used the Spellbound design card to create embellishments that she added to various candy containers. For an extra touch she added glitter and used a dimensional adhesive.
Donna also used bat die-cuts from the Spellbound design card to cover a lamp. The Slice makes Halloween prep easy.
The changing of the seasons always inspires me to freshen up the decor in my home. These hanging frames are perfect as we head into fall. This beautiful project was created using the Slice Cordless Design Cutter.
To create this project simply find three matching frames (or use older frames and paint them whatever color you choose). Add paper to the frames. I used Making Memories Paperie collection. Then use the Slice Cordless Designer to layer flowers over the glass. I used a layering technique to add different flower shapes and paper patterns. You could also layer leaves, alphabets, shapes, and more.
This is a simple project but it looks so lovely in any room.
Slice Tag Maker Overview
This month Making Memories is excited to announce the release of the new Making Memories Slice Tag Maker.
Some of you may be familiar with our classic Making Memories Tag Maker. Fortunately, thanks to the Slice, you no longer have to worry about punching out your tags by hand. This new tool color coordinates with the Slice and is meant to be used in conjunction with the Tag Maker design card. First, pick a tag shape from the Tag Maker card and cut it out with your Slice Cordless Design Cutter. Next, use the Slice Tag Maker to put a rim around your shape. Each tag shape cuts in three sizes to correspond with Making Memories Tag Maker rims. Look for new glitter Tag Maker rims.
Why settle for plain tags when you can make tags with butterflies, stars, hearts, letters and several other designs? Not only does the Slice make tag-making that much easier, but it makes it more stylish as well.

You can never have too many suggestions or ideas when it comes to using the Making Memories Slice design cutter because there are countless possibilities. Here are a few fresh ideas from Wendy Anderson:
With a variety of design cards comes a variety of flowers to choose from. Try layering the same flowers or mixing different styles to achieve this three-dimensional look.
For added depth, cut your photo with the Slice and then use dimensional adhesive to apply it to your background paper. This helps your words to stand out.
Don’t underestimate the value of negative space! Before you throw
away those extra little pieces, look what you can do with this flower
from the Basics 2 design card.
