We have been loving all of the layouts with the spray misting and wanted to try something different with just adding paint. We have created this fresh fun summer layout with a mix of colors.

We wanted to share some inspiration on this lovely Monday! Today we have a 12" x 12" layout combining Making Memories Modern Millinery Collection and Making Memories Je t'Adore Collection.
We used a 12" x 12" cream cardstock for the base of the layout. Then we chose pattern paper that matched our photo and the colors we wanted for the layout. Teal, Orange and Pink with hints of green.
Out of the pattern papers we cut banners that we could layer underneath the focal point photo. Out of the green paper we created a photo mat for our 4" x 6" photo.
Last we embellished the layout with the Je t'Adore embellishment box and added a simple handwritten title.

We have a special treat for you! Jayme Shepherd, Design Director for Making Memories has created this amazing Millinery Minibook project for us today.
Don't you love all the small details on this project! She started by using the new fabric papers to create the outside of the album, brilliant if I do say so myself. She then of course embellished the cover with a paper doily, die-cuts, stickers and gorgeous flowers.
To create the album base you will glue two papers together back to back. You'll use this same technique to create each of the pages. Choose two decorative papers that match and glue them back to back. You'll score the page add some glue and starting put your book together.
Jayme will be teaching this minibook class at ScrapFest!
Modern Millinery 6" x 6" layout
Do you like creating your own patterns for background paper? Stacy has done an amazing job today with creating a beautiful background paper with small squares from all the different pattern papers. We love how it makes this layout so bright and colorful!

Can you believe it is already August - before we know it will be Christmas! We wanted to share some inspiration from our new Believe Collection today. Wendy Bretz created this amazing 6" x 6" layout and we just love the way she used type. She created this great journaling circle on the computer first and then built her layout on top of that, brilliant!
