Today we have card inspiration for you! I have seen lots of inspiration of repeating punched or die-cut shapes to create a card or layout. We wanted to create an example using this same concept with the Modern Millinery program.
Steps 1 & 2
You'll need paper for the background [white is shown], printed cardstock of your choice, and some embellishments [je t'adore embellishment box used here]. We also used our Slice and the applique card for our die-cutting. We used a mix of pattern papers and then played around with the layout of the pieces.
This would be a simple shape to cut by hand if needed. It creates a fun chevron pattern.
Steps 3 & 4
Next we added printed word strips and hand cut them into a similar shape as our die-cut pieces to keep a cohesive look. Then we added embellishments to the card which included: pink rolled flower, gold glittler leaves and gems & pearls.
Here is our finished card. Perfect for any occassion!
