Hello everyone! I am very honored to be featured today on the Making Memories blog. This is my very first guest designer opportunity and I am very excited! Today I created this layout of my youngest son. I thought the Sarah Jane - Children At Play Collection would be perfect for a young boy or tween.
Here are the instructions:
Ink and distress edges of kraft cardstock.
Cut four squares of patterned paper 3 inches long by 3 inches wide. Ink edges. I used Tim Holtz “Rusty Hinge” Distress Ink
Place patterned paper squares as shown on layout and adhere to kraft cardstock.
Cut lilac colored paper to 3 ½ inches wide by 5 ½ inches long and ink edges with Tim Holtz “Milled Lavender” Distress Ink. Adhere 3X5 photo onto photo mat. Place photo and photo mat on layout using dimensional squares.
Cut three border stickers, layer and apply under photo as shown.
Apply Ranger Glossy Accents to all the diecuts, the striped area of tag, and orange letter stickers except for journal sticker and frame diecut. Let dry.
Place tags, sticker and diecuts as shown on layout and adhere. The rocket diecuts, striped tag, one number “6”, journaling sticker and bicycle diecut are all adhered with 3D dimensional squares. The stars, frame diecut and “6” on journaling sticker are simply adhered to the cardstock.
Attach small piece of orange ric rac to tag, tie and trim edges neatly.
Write journaling on journal sticker and orange sticker.
Apply mini stickers (things about you) and (you) inside of frame diecut.
I hope you liked this layout that I created. Please check out my blog at http://lee-annelovethejourney.blogspot.com/ for more scrappy goodness.
Have a wonderful day!
