I
wanted to share a project the Leah Fung created using the packaging from some
of the Panorama
Collection.

Regular clear tape
1. Cut the following paper
to 5 1/2”H x 9”W and fold in half”
a. Beige text (“discover
paradise”) paper (fold with dot side out)
b. Olive text paper
(fold with solid side out)
c. Beige map paper (fold
with solid side out)
d. Teal map (fold with
blue side out)
e. Paradise paper (fold
with dot side out)
2. Adhere all folded
papers, except the second Paradise paper, in the order listed above. Adhere one
on top of the other till papers are attached to each other forming a booklet.
3. Carefully remove
plastic insert from luggage packaging. Adhere the booklet to the inside back of
the luggage packaging.
4. Trim the 1/4"
off the right side of the remaining Paradise folded paper. Adhere left side to
the last page in the booklet. The shortened page should open outward.
5. For a side pocket on
the first page, trim die cut paper to 5 1/2”H x 3 1/2”W. Adhere left side, top
and bottom to Page 1, creating the side pocket.
6. For a pocket on the
front side of the last page, trim die cut paper to 2 1/2”H x 4 1/4”W. Adhere
sides and bottom to page, creating the pocket.
7. For the cover:
a. Slice 3” label out of
beige map paper using Vintage Findings Slice card.
b. Using the same shape,
select shadow feature and Slice shape out of red solid paper.
c. Stamp “Journey Blvd”
on first die cut. Once dried, adhere to shadow die cut.
d. As an option, draw
thin line around shape, very close to edge.
e. Add mini brads and
mount die cut to cover using foam tape.
f. Add
stickers and button.
8. For Page 1, add
stickers and tags to pocket.
9. For Page 3:
a. Change Slice card to
Travel card. Slice 2 1/2” boat out of beige text paper. Trim off bottom of
boat, keeping sails.
b. Slice another 2 1/2”
boat out of the red solid paper. Stamp border on boat.
c. As an option, draw
thin line around both shapes, very close to edge.
d. Adhere patterned
sails on top of boat. Tie on twine then mount boat to page using foam tape.
e. Add stickers to boat
and page.
10. For Page 4:
a. Slice 2 1/2” travel
sign out of beige map paper.
b. Slice another 2 1/2”
travel sign out of red solid paper. As an option, draw thin line around shape,
very close to edge.
c. Place inside section
of first shape into outer section of second shape and tape together on the
back.
d. Mount die cut to page
using foam tape. Add stickers.
11. For Page 5: Mount car accent to
page using foam tape then add sticker.
12. For Page 6:
a. Slice 2” leaf out of
green solid paper.
b. Slice 2” flower out
of red solid paper.
c. As an option, draw
thin line around both shapes, very close to edge.
d. Add lines of glue
starting at center of flower then add glitter.
e. Mount flower and leaf
to page using foam tape.
f. Curl
up petals and leaf with fingers. Add button and stickers.
13. For Page 8:
a. Slice 4” postcard out
of beige text paper.
b. Slice 1 1/2” postage
stamp out of red solid paper
c. As an option, draw
thin line around both shapes, very close to edge.
d. Stamp “my journey”
journal box on postcard die cut then add stickers.
e. Stamp floral stamp on
the second die cut. Adhere to post card.
f. Mount
post card to page using foam tape.
14. For Page 9 (front): add tags,
stickers, sign accent, and button.
15. For Page 9 (inside right):
a. Slice 3” state of
your choice.
b. As an option, draw
thin line around shape, very close to edge.
c. Add stickers and
mount die cut to page using foam tape.
Wrap ribbon around booklet and tie bow in front.
