Here is a scrapbooking tip from Audre, a Making Memories product designer.
When I scrapbook, I lay my photos out on my computer before I print them and cut them out. I make a 12" x 12" document (in Photoshop for example), and place my photo on the page. I adjust the size by cropping them here. That way, instead of working around the photo size I already have, I know what size and cropping I want ahead of time. That makes it easier to get the amount of photos on my page and still have room to work a layout around them. A traditional 4”x6” photo hardly ever works out with what I want to do.
