Design Challenge with Paperie
Once again, Wendy Anderson shows us another way to play around with the Making Memories’ Paperie collection. Compare this with the last layout we showed you and you’ll see how the same collection can produce fresh results when different elements of the Paperie lines are combined.
Wendy used a lot of the same techniques with this layout, but with a few variations. First, she gave herself a Greenhouse paper background and contrasted it with Mocha and Rouge paper. A piece of Rouge spiral journaling paper provides a nice backdrop for one of her photos, which she adorned with blossoms and buttons from all four of the Paperie lines. Wendy also cut thin strips of the Rouge and Poolside paper to create a unique border for the edge of her page and finished off the layout with Poolside stickers and an epoxy clip from the Mocha collection.
If you look closely at the buttons, you’ll see that Greenhouse trim has been threaded through for a special touch. You might try a similar technique or perhaps you’ll discover your own way of mixing the Rouge, Mocha, Poolside and Greenhouse products from the Paperie line.
What ideas can you come up with?
