Same Product Three Designers - Day One
We provided three of our blog readers a collection of Making Memories Passport Collection. We asked them to create a project with that collection and share it with the rest of us.
Today Ally from Ontario, Canada is going to share her work.
I don't have very many photos of all of us as a family because typically, I am the one behind the camera, just like a lot of you. I wanted to remember the three of us at this moment this year and to document this point in our journey as a family. Sometimes it is just nice to capture the simple, everyday moments in our life and I think this picture captured that perfectly. I am so thankful that I have these two great guys in my life to take and enjoy the journey with. I am truly blessed!
To create this page, I started by cutting the edge of my kraft cardstock, inked it, and then added some machine stitching. I then cut a strip of Passport embossed paper and adhered it behind the detail edge.
I trimmed and tore pieces of pattered paper to fit one inside the other, inking and distressing the edges. I cut the "damask" patter out of the patterned paper, inked and adhered all the papers and my photo to the page.
I stamped my flourish design, laid down some of the label fetti stickers and stuck my title chipboard alphabets down. I journaled on one of the journaling tags, added another tag below and adhering them both. To finish the page, I added some more label fetti stickers, some canvas flowers and some Kaiser gemstones to create a visual triangle of red highlight elements.
Thanks Ally for sharing your work with the rest of us.
