During a recent cleaning and purging of my scrapbook supplies, I came across some items I have had sitting around for quite some time. You know exactly what I am talking about...you buy item "A" with plans to make something specific with it, and then when you get distracted or forget about it, it ends up unused as your newer supplies get more attention. Just because an item has been around for a while doesn't mean it has to look dated. There are lots of ways to spice up older supplies to use today.
One way of using an older item is to combine it on a page with your newer products. For example, I found some great MM metal frames in my stash. These are such a great item, and there are so many ways to utilize them- they would make great fridge magnets or ornaments for your tree- or they just look great on a page!
I combined them on a page with the new MM Funky Vintage papers and embellishments, and added a little bit of paint to spice them up. They give importance to the photos and look great combined with the bright colors and funky shapes of Funky Vintage.
Why don't you give it a try? Dig up some of your older supplies, maybe you have some MM metal frames in your stash, or papers from a few years ago.
Whatever you can find to mix up Something Old with Something New...and show us what you've made. Post it in our MM Idea Gallery. We can't wait to see what you've done!
