Have you ever come across a fabric that jumps out at you? Something about it catches your eye or makes you happy, or the colors just speak to you. Here is a sample of a piece of fabric that did that for me. I love the summer time colors in this fabric - the aqua, orange, and yellow, and then the unexpected olive green gives it just the right punch of color. And then there are the circles. Such a pleasing shape, these circles are hand cut, outlined with a black pen, and playful. I opted to outline mine to give them a doodle feel. I used polka-dot paper to mimic the circles and add to the "bubble" feel of a water theme layout. These colorful circles remind me of bubbles without looking like them.
