As we continue to celebrate a week of fathers (or husbands or the man in your life) We wanted you to think back to some of the things that you have learned from him. If you had to pick one of life’s lessons that stick out in your mind the most, what would it be?

My father is a fairly simple man. I don't think that I know another person more caring or genuine towards people. For as long as I can remember, my father has never let a week go by without giving me a call to see how I'm doing, and what is going on in my life. He has taught me the importance of keeping in touch with your children no matter how many miles are between you! Kris
There is a lesson to be learned in every trial. No matter what, no matter where, no matter why, my dad’s perseverance and gentle strength remain constant, even today. As I encounter my own struggles as an adult, his example reminds me that I’ll be a better person for them- no matter what life throws at me. I’m so grateful for a dad who continues to have such a positive impact in my life and my children’s life!! Thank you dad! Jennifer Jensen
