Congrats to Alison from Macomb Township, MI. She is the winner of our Mother’s Day contest. She won a mini book of her and her mother which will be created from someone on our design team. Yea!!!
Finally, here are the remaining tributes from our design team.
TO MY MOM: Mom, you are the BEST! I love how supportive you are and what a great relationship we have. I love this photo of us when I was just a wee little kiddo…and I’m totally laughing at your cute little gingham outfit. :o) Thanks so much for teaching me how to be a great mom…I thank you and Daisy thanks you. I look up to you now, just as I did then. Happy mothers day!! Big hugs, erin terrell :o)
Since I just recently moved away from my mom, I realize more than ever how much she means to me. We have grown especially close the last few years and I am so grateful for her friendship. She is always there for me and is always willing to help me out or listen when I need a friend. She is my favorite shopping buddy, especially when it comes to home decor!
She has such an eye for decorating and always seems to find the greatest little treasures!! My mom is outgoing, friendly, creative and so thoughtful! Most of all I am thankful for her love and kindness and all she does for me and my family!
My mom is definitely someone whom I do not see often enough. I wish that there was a secret bridge between here and there so that we could meet in minutes rather than at the end of a 22-hour drive or without the expense of repeated airplane trips. But until that time when they move down here (hint hint, mom and dad!) I am so thankful that we are able to communicate in other ways. There are the phone calls where Cole dominates the conversation, the emails narrating the silly, frustrating, or even just mundane parts of our days, and, of course, the 1001 photos of her grandchildren that I’ve sent to her on numerous occasions. So even though we aren’t able to share a big hug on a bad day, I am thankful for the other forms of communication that allow us to keep in touch so easily. After all, she’s my mom, and there’s no one else who quite understands just how crazy this 3-year-old is making me except for the one who happened to raise one of those crazy three-year-olds herself! Have a great weekend and a happy Mother’s Day!
