Making Memories invited me to do the challenge for this week. I’m so excited. I wanted to show a new use for a product that most of us already have, hinges.
I have had MM hinges for the longest time in my product stash, which by the way is often hard for me to dig into!! Hinges are one of the easiest embellishments to use because they provide a unique element to any project without a lot of work. I love stringing ribbon through them and adding some twinkle with a simple rhinestone brad - a great shabby look in the end especially with some dabs of paint too!!
It just gave my page the sweet unexpected twist that I desired. I so wanted to add letter charms or eyelet charms to the ribbons, but it began to get to busy...maybe next time I will! So, with that being said, let your creative minds get to work to find some fun ways to use an old-time favorite, hinges.
